Sweet Baby

I just can't stop loving and kissing on this little girl. She has definitely woken up over the last couple of days and seems to just be taking everything in. She has the biggest bluest eyes that she opens as wide as she can. I am anxiously awaiting a regular sleep/awake schedule, but I am sure that I have a few weeks still. What can I say, I am a schedule mommy, it just makes my day so much easier! I learned the hard way with Kendra, by the time Ethan came along I knew that I had to have a schedule. I love this picture, it really shows her precious little face.

She still takes her binky, but not all of the time. When she is interested she is great with it and keeps it in her mouth well, but sometimes she just doesn't want it. Oh well!

All of the kids are doing great and the boys are over their colds that were lingering around the last couple of weeks. I am busy packing away and trying to organize all of our junk. I am looking forward to having a HUGE garage sale. I am trying to get most of the big stuff listed on craigslist but just can't seem to get it done. I have made my list of items and started taking pictures but I just can't seem to take that last step, I guess I would rather be browsing people's blogs or on Facebook when I sit down in front of the computer.

We were the winners, well not really

Last weekend High School Musical the Ice tour was in town. Kendra and Ethan were both super excited and we really wanted to take them, but didn't want to buy tickets so we had been trying to win them off of the radio for over a week. Well mostly Josh had been trying but had no luck. Then our wonderful friends called and Kevin had won tickets from a radio station, he is always winning things off of the radio. They were headed to Sheridan for the weekend and their boys aren't the biggest High School Musical fans anyways so he offered them to us. Josh went and picked them up and picked out our seats, which were awesome! The next day Josh's mom called, (who is the sales manager for a broadcasting company) and said she had vouchers for the show if we wanted them. We decided that we would take two of the neighbor kids that Kendra and Ethan are always playing with, so Josh went and picked up the vouchers. This was the day before the show so his mom just gave him all of the vouchers that they had left, which ended up being like 20!!! So Josh took them to work with him that night and handed them out to any guests that wanted them. So apparently we didn't need to worry about tickets, oh well the kids had fun listening to dad call into the radio stations. We had a great time at the show and Josh and I enjoyed the music :) While the kiddos enjoyed every moment. It was definitely an interesting experience. I hadn't seen ice skaters like that since I was just a little girl so I enjoyed watching the tricks. I have to admit that I am a huge High School Musical fan and could probably watch the movies all day long, oh wait sometimes I feel like I have! I know that my little brother would cringe if he read this but I love that my kids have a wholesome show to enjoy that I don't have to worry about sexual inuendos or violence or anything like that. Ethan loves to watch the movies to improve his dance moves, he is a pretty good dancer I must admit. I catch myself singing the songs all of the time and sometimes I steal Kendra's MP3 player so that I can hear my favorite song, "Fabulous."

Amy Butler Bag

I am not sure how this all started but my mother bought this pattern and made this ginormous bag a couple of months ago. At first I didn't like it because it was so HUGE! But I liked the material that my mom picked out and then my sister came and made one and I loved the material that she used and then my other sister came to town and she made one too and now I have got to have one. I am going to make a few adjustments to mine, like adding a divider down the middle to break up the massive space and I am going to make the pockets on the inside slightly larger and put a seam down the middle on them so I have a space for diapers and wipes. But I have decided that this is the ultimate diaper bag/purse. I can't wait to pick out my material and get started. My mom has loved making them and has decided to make a bunch and then sell them. If anyone is interested let me know and I will pick out some awesome material for you. We did some research on these bags and they are super popular and you can buy ones on Etsy if anyone has ever heard of that, but anyways they are $40 and super stylin :)
